Going Live
This guide covers the steps to publish your Business Project from the Sandbox to production, making it visible to real customers.
Prerequisites
Before you can go live, you need:
- A configured Business Project — At least one Business Branch fully set up
- Payment setup — Stripe account connected (if you’re accepting payments)
- Identity verification — KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements completed through Stripe
- An active subscription — Monthly subscription to the Distancer.ai platform
Step-by-Step
1. Review Your Project
Do a final review in the Sandbox:
- All descriptions are accurate and professional
- Pricing is finalized
- Images and media are uploaded
- Schedules and availability are configured correctly
2. Connect Stripe
If you haven’t already, set up your Stripe account. This is required for any Branch that accepts payments.
3. Complete Identity Verification
Stripe requires identity verification for all accounts that process payments. This involves:
- Providing government-issued identification
- Verifying your business information
- Confirming your bank account for payouts
Processing typically takes a few minutes but can take up to 48 hours in some cases.
4. Subscribe
From your dashboard, activate your subscription:
- Monthly billing at the current platform rate
- Covers unlimited Business Branches and transactions
- Can be cancelled at any time
5. Publish
Click Go Live from your project dashboard. Your project is published and accessible to customers immediately.
After Going Live
Making Updates
Your Sandbox remains available. To make changes after launch:
- Make edits in the Sandbox
- Test and verify the changes
- Publish the updates to production
Monitoring
Your dashboard provides:
- Order and booking notifications
- Revenue tracking
- Customer activity overview
Pausing Your Business
You can temporarily unpublish your project at any time without losing your configuration or data. Customers will see a maintenance message until you republish.
